7th Annual
West Stockbridge Zucchini Festival - Saturday, August 14th
Look what’s
returning … and what’s new !

On Saturday,
August 14th (rain or shine) the West Stockbridge Cultural
Council will host the 7th Annual Zucchini Festival in the
town center, Rts. 41/102, ¼ mile west of Exit 1 of
the Mass Pike. The Festival is for families in the community
and visitors alike to gather together to have fun! There are
activities for kids & adults: a pet parade, rides (newly
designed Gondola!) & races, a zucchini recipe contest, zucchini
decorating/weigh-off contests, games, food booths and more.
We
will offer the usual favorites: Pet Parade, Gondola rides (newly
designed Gondola!), climbing wall and other games, food and craft
booths. Live music and entertainment will feature Berkshire local kids’
favorite for daytime music David Grover and
Terry
A La Berry, and
the return of Hooping Harmony. Afternoon music will
include the Eagle’s Big Band and returning will be the
samba rhythms of Bossa Triba and The Berkshire Bateria with
Samba Dancers. The fun begins at 10 AM & continues until
about 9:30 PM when fireworks & dancing in the streets (to
the great sound of Bootleg) round out the day.
Attendance is free, with small fees for tickets at game booths.
Euro Bungi IS making a debut this
year at the Festival!
